An AQARA Hub is required and sold separately. It is not compatible with hubs from other brands. The Aqara Water Leak Sensor requires a secured 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network for Hub M2, M1S, E1, M1S Gen2, and Camera Hub G2H Pro/G2H. For Camera Hub G3, 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi is required. Wired connection via Ethernet is also supported for Hub M2. Before connecting to Apple HomeKit or enabling skills in Google Home and Alexa, ensure the Aqara Water Leak Sensor is connected to an AQARA hub.

Proximity

For optimal performance, place the Aqara Water Leak Sensor within 400 inches of the Aqara Zigbee hub. Ensure the hub is also within range of the Wi-Fi router and on the same local area network (LAN).

Flood Detection

The Aqara Water Leak Sensor can instantly detect water and send an alert to your phone. It also activates the local alarm on the Aqara Hub to prevent potential leaks and flooding.

Home Automation

Once excess water is detected, your connected AQARA devices will be controlled or triggered, ensuring your home remains safe.

Wireless & Sensitive

Fitted with an ultra mini design, the Aqara Water Leak Sensor can be placed anywhere it is needed. It features sensitive leak probes with a water level threshold of 0.5mm. No wiring or screws are necessary.
