Constructed on the Thread protocol, the P2 offers enhanced connectivity, low power consumption, more stability, and low latency.

Powered by a high-precision Hall sensor, the Aqara Door and Window Sensor P2 accurately monitors the open and close status of doors, windows, and drawers. Receive real-time alerts on your smartphone, whether you are at home or away, to stay aware of potential security issues. Currently tested hubs include Aqara Home (Hub M3), Apple devices (Apple TV 4K, HomePod, HomePod mini), Samsung devices (SmartThings Hub v3, Aeotec Hub v3, SmartThings Station), Amazon devices (Echo), and Google devices (Nest Hub, Nest Hub Max, Nest Wi-Fi Pro). More hubs will be added over time.

Easy Installation and Long Battery Life

Thanks to its compact design and adhesive back, the sensor is easily integrated into any interior. Equipped with a powerful CR123A battery, it provides uninterrupted protection with infrequent replacements. Battery life may vary depending on the border router and Matter app. The best results are advised with the future Aqara border router.
